The commissions of the association and their objectives are as following:

1-       Public Relations Commission

• Cooperation with Ministry of Industries, Industries organization of Tehran province, Commercial Company of Petrochemy in order to adjust the market policies.
• Cooperation with government and Islamic congress to collect the law and presenting the appropriate tactics to defend the benefits of the members and developing the plastics industry.
• Providing the specialized and informative Bulletins and the journal.
• Collaboration in joint meetings and conferences with other countries to improve the fields of activities for the members.

2-       Financial Commission

·         Follow up of receiving the membership fees and taking action to improve the financial benefits of the association.

·         Negotiation with banks and attracting their cooperation to provide innovation credits and investments for the members.

·         Assistance in establishing or developing the capital market for members.

·         Faciliating the entrance of foreign capitals

3-       Cultural Commission

·         Holding the specialized and management conferences.

·         Holding annual or quarterly festivals.

·         Introduction of successful units in industry.

·         Publishing books and articles to develop the plastics industry.

·         Assistance to establish or develop accommodations and sport activities for members.

4-       Commercial Commission

·         Providing data bases

·         Recognizing the consumption markets for members

·         Recognizing the situation of the competitors in global market.

·         Recognizing the sellers and resources for raw materials.

·         Increasing the competition power of the members in domestic and foreign markets.

·         Providing the guide book to introduce the productions of the members.

·         Holding and participating in national and international exhibitions.

·         Assistance in supplying raw materials and machinery.

·         Providing the required background for contracts with foreign customers.

·         Providing the export and import tariffs and presenting them to Ministry of Industries for approval of the government.

·         Establishment and development of internet website.

5-       Technical Commission

·         Assisting to improve the quantity and quality of the productions of member units, reduction of wastages and costs of production.

·         Introduction of latest technology achievements in plastic industries.

·         Assisting to establish a joint specialized laboratory.

·         Determining and collecting the high quality standards with cooperation of Standard and industrial research institute of Iran.

·         Providing the related manuals for high quality of commodities , reduction  of energy, environmental problems.

·         Providing the development of fields of activities in pure and applied industrial research,….. especially in the relations between industry and university.
